Roof top locations - Generators
Installing emergency standby power solutions on the top of tower blocks, hospitals and offices can be a challenge. Power continuity will install at any height. Generators all have bunded, double skinned fuel tanks. Fuel tanks can be installed in the basement, and we'll install the double skinned fuel lines from the roof to the basement tank. Fuel lines provide fuel fill automatically to keep the roof generator topped up. In the event of a fire alarm being pressed we can 'dump' the fuel into the basement tank within approx. 2 minutes. Life Safety UPS systems can also be installed on the roof. Fully containerised UPS systems with 2 hours of batteries. Structural site surveys are always required in advance to confirm the weight of tolerance of any roof mounted equipment. Remote monitoring 24-7 is available and included.

Snowdon Mountain has TWO Power Continuity generators operating 24 hours a day during the tourist season. Regular servicing to ensure your UPS and Generator never fails is a priority. Telecoms and Remote Air traffic contol sites are installed and maintained by Power Continuity across the UK. Isolated wind farm Power systems are serviced by and installed by our own engineers.
